I have been designing for a few years now, but I've had an inclination for the art since I can remember. Shapes, space, composition, coupled with an understanding of the design fundamentals allow me to communicate ideas visually. Unavoidably, design has become a craft that I explore beyond the workplace. I see it on every product, every sign, and every brand. What about this design is successful? What could be better?
Every day I challenge myself to take the discipline to the next level. I truly believe you have to make the grid before you break it. And as the grid constantly evolves, part of my job is to be adaptable. Focused on finding my voice, I strive to keep up with industry trends and remain relevant.
Outside of work, I enjoy riding my bike, surfing, painting, hiking, and hanging out with the family. Originally from Puerto Rico, I spent 17 years in San Francisco before deciding I wanted to be closer to my island. I currently reside in Boston.
